Wisconsin and Nevada are about as different in winter as two Western states can be. A Madison or Milwaukee household moving to Reno trades lake-effect winters for a high desert with its own snow season.
WisDOT requires a new resident to title and register a vehicle upon establishing residency, without a stated number of days, and to get a Wisconsin license within 60 days, or 30 days for commercial licenses.
