White-glove delivery means an O'Brien's crew brings new furniture into the room you choose, unwraps it, sets it up and takes the packing away. The service is available to department stores and to homeowners directly.
Buying a sofa or a dining set is the easy part. Getting it through the door, into the right room, assembled and free of scratches is where delivery goes wrong. White-glove delivery treats the last few feet as the most important part of the order. O'Brien's offers it for retail stores sending furniture to customers and for homeowners who buy elsewhere and want it placed with care.
What white-glove delivery includes
The crew takes the furniture from the truck or warehouse, carries it inside using floor protection and pads, places it where you want it, assembles what needs assembling and removes cartons and wrap. The delivery is complete when the room looks finished, not when the truck is empty.

Who uses it
Department stores and furniture retailers use white-glove delivery so their customers receive furniture in finished condition. Homeowners use it for pieces bought online or from out-of-town makers. Interior designers use it to turn a warehouse of arrivals into a furnished home. See logistics for interior designers.
Warehousing before delivery
When the room is not ready, furniture can wait in the Sparks warehouse until the date you set. The crew delivers from storage, so the pieces appear when the paint is dry and the floors are done. Learn about receiving and warehousing.

Care for the home
Tell the office about narrow doorways, steep stairs, fragile floors or condo move-in rules before delivery. Condo buildings often reserve elevators and require insurance papers. Your delivery window comes from your written estimate. For larger projects such as hotels and dormitories, see FF&E receiving, storage, delivery and installation.
Extremely happy with the moving experience. The moving team showed up on time, friendly and polite. They did a wonderful job moving our boxes and furniture to the new location. We moved a three bedroom home and I could not be more pleased with the employees who assisted with the move. Highly recommend O'Brien moving for your move.

Talk about organized people. I peeked in the truck about an hour into the job and was amazed at how well organized it was and how many of my things had protective coverings. Our bed is a mechanical one and a nightmare to us, but these guys had no issue with it at all. Although I have no desire to ever move again--but if I did, I would be calling these guys for sure!!!
