O'Brien's works with interior designers on warehousing, logistics, installation and debris removal, so one company handles the pieces from arrival to the finished room. Everything starts from the 30,000 sq ft Sparks warehouse.
Interior designers are paid for taste and judgment, not for chasing freight carriers or lifting sofas. O'Brien's takes the physical side of a project: receiving shipments, holding them, delivering them in the order the plan calls for and installing them.
The four jobs O'Brien's takes on
Warehousing holds furniture, art and accessories until the room is ready. Logistics moves them between the warehouse, the project and any other stops. Installation places and assembles each piece, and hangs or sets what needs it. Debris removal clears the cartons, pads and packaging so the room is delivered clean.
Each of these appears as a line on a written estimate, so a designer can pass the numbers to the client in the form the contract uses.

Residential and commercial projects
Designers use the same pattern on a lake house and on a restaurant or hotel, and the crew adjusts the plan to the size of the job. Larger commercial jobs fall under FF&E logistics, described at FF&E receiving, storage, delivery and installation, and the Tahoe and Truckee mountain communities are within the service area.
White-glove standards
Delivery to a client's home is held to the standard described on white-glove furniture delivery: protection on floors and walls, placement where the plan shows and set-up before the crew leaves. Designers who need holding space can read about receiving and warehousing.

Working with the office
Designers can call 775-359-6683, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, to talk through upcoming projects. Estimates are itemized, and the in-home estimate is free with no obligation. Commercial crews can work evenings and weekends by arrangement when a site needs it, which helps when a space is occupied during the week or a hotel floor is closed only for a short window. Bring your install drawings to the first call so the crew can plan access, elevators and loading points.
