Moving from Reno to Yuba City
Yuba City is about 127 miles from our Sparks warehouse, a short interstate haul, and its median home value is $434,600 in the American Community Survey. The valley floor there sits only 55 feet above sea level.
Yuba City and Marysville face each other across the Feather River, and together they form a small metro in the Sacramento Valley farm belt. Census flows between Washoe County and Sutter and Yuba counties are modest, and their margins of error are large, so the fair summary is that people move both ways. Heat, fog and farm-country weather
The Marysville airport station lists a January high of 55.5 degrees, a January low of 38.2, a July high of 96.2 and a July low of 60.7, with 20.07 inches of precipitation a year. NOAA does not publish a snowfall figure for that station.
Reno's July low is 60.4 degrees, so summer nights are about as cool in Yuba City while the days run hotter. Plan to put plants and perishable items in a cooler spot on delivery day.

Talk about organized people. I peeked in the truck about an hour into the job and was amazed at how well organized it was and how many of my things had protective coverings. Our bed is a mechanical one and a nightmare to us, but these guys had no issue with it at all. Although I have no desire to ever move again--but if I did, I would be calling these guys for sure!!!
