The Ohio BMV says that within 30 days of establishing residency, you must transfer your out-of-state license, title and registration. Ohio Revised Code section 4503.111 backs up the registration part.

Ohio Revised Code section 5747.02 sets the individual income tax for 2026 at $332 plus 2.75 percent of the amount over $26,050. The Department of Taxation lists a state sales and use tax rate of 5.75 percent, and counties and transit authorities may add more.
