The state's personal income tax schedule reaches 10.30 percent on income between $5 million and $25 million and 10.90 percent above $25 million. The Department of Taxation and Finance lists a 4 percent state sales tax, to which cities, counties and school districts add their own rates.
Nevada collects no personal income tax, so the withholding line on a New York pay stub will be new.
