Interstate moves travel on the Bekins Van Lines network; O'Brien's has been a Bekins agent since 1955.
Popular: Sacramento Las Vegas Boise Phoenix Portland
Three states make up this group, and they reach Reno by three different roads. This page sorts the thirteen cities by corridor so you can find yours quickly, then explains how a move on any of them is booked.
Medford is the nearest Northwest city at about 305 miles, followed by Bend at about 389 and Eugene at about 426. Coos Bay sits at about 471 and Salem at about 486. These drives leave Nevada by way of northern California and climb into Oregon on routes such as CA-139, CA-89 and US-97.
Portland is the long end of Oregon at about 533 miles. Its page sets the two metro areas side by side.

The Washington routes are longer. Olympia is about 644 miles, Tacoma about 672 and Seattle about 705. Spokane is about 785 miles, and the Tri-Cities of Kennewick and Richland about 645, both reached by way of US-95 and I-84 through eastern Oregon.
Census estimates put about 4,900 people moving from Washington to Nevada in 2024 and about 2,400 from Oregon. Treat those as rough sizes, since survey estimates carry a margin of error.
Boise is about 418 miles from the warehouse and Twin Falls about 452. Idaho is also one of the states where Nevada residents head: Census counts about 3,300 people moving from Nevada to Idaho in 2024, more than moved the other way.
Moving from Reno to the Northwest, O'Brien's prices the move after an estimate, packs and loads in Sparks, and the Bekins network carries it to your door. Moving to Reno from the Northwest, you book with O'Brien's and we coordinate the move from your origin through the Bekins network, then deliver, unpack and store in Sparks.
Long-distance moves are priced by weight, and the estimate is itemized. Ask your estimator for it before you sign. Your written estimate also sets the delivery window; this page does not.

Check winter conditions on your route with TripCheck for Oregon and WSDOT for Washington. Then compare the cost-of-living data on the metro comparison page to see what your housing budget does in Reno.
