Both movers were courteous, efficient and very carful with my furniture. Also, talking with Janet over the phone was a pleasure.

Reno is the biggest market in the region, with about 273,212 residents in 114,322 households, and 50.2 percent of them rent. For a business, that means a deep pool of tenants, landlords and buildings, and a steady flow of suites that change hands. O'Brien's has been moving Reno offices since 1941, starting with a small garage on Sierra Street. Book on our office moving page.

County Business Patterns lists 18 establishments in used household and office goods moving in Washoe County for 2023, as a working industry. That is a working industry, so a Reno office manager has a choice of providers.
O'Brien's brings a long local record: family owned since 1941, with the third generation of the O'Brien family running the company. It is also a Bekins agent, and its USDOT number, 30611, is on file with FMCSA. See licenses and authority.
A move inside Reno is a move inside Nevada, under O'Brien's Nevada Transportation Authority certificate, CPCN 1070. The yard at 2277 Glendale Ave is 6.3 miles from central Reno by SR 659 and I-580, so a crew can reach most Reno buildings in about 11 minutes of free-flow driving.
That short distance helps evenings and weekends. A crew can load a floor after the last staff member leaves and be back for the next one.
The estimator walks both suites, or reviews the floor plans if the new one is under construction. The questions are practical: how many workstations, how many file cabinets, which rooms must open first, whether the elevator is shared, where the truck can stop.
The itemized estimate is in writing, and the inventory and condition report is done before packing.

Many Reno offices sit in multi-tenant buildings, where the building manager sets elevator times and may ask for proof of insurance before a mover works on site. Ask your property manager early, then pass the requirements to the estimator.
A move manager stays on site on larger jobs and signs off area by area. Read about on-site move management.
Commercial crews work evenings, weekends and holidays by arrangement, and furniture can wait in the Sparks warehouse between leases. See after-hours moves and commercial storage. Call 775-359-6683 on a weekday between 8 am and 5 pm.

The two employees showed up on time and were very polite and ready to work. Our quote was 8 hours and they finished in 5 hours. Office staff checked in prior to move and confirmed all details and check in after move to make sure everything was taken care of. Would use this company again for sure!
Laurie, Thank you for the awesome review! We are glad to hear everything went smoothly, and you were satisfied with the service. We want to also thank you for your business we appreciate you!
