A TV box is a shaped carton, often with foam corners, that holds a flat-screen upright and snug, and O'Brien's carries boxes and wrapping supplies for it at the Sparks office. The free in-home estimate comes with 10 free heavy-duty boxes for the cables, consoles and speakers.
Screens are the most expensive fragile thing in a living room, and the original box is long gone in most homes. A purpose-made television carton replaces it. The same idea works for monitors, receivers, game consoles and desktop computers: a snug carton, soft material on every face, and a plan for the cables.

What the carton is for
A TV carton is a tall, flat, stiff box, sized to a range of screen widths. It is meant to hold a screen on its edge, with cushioning around the frame and a firm wall on the front and back. Computer monitors, large framed displays and similar thin electronics fit the same carton style. Smaller electronics such as game consoles, routers and receivers go in a sturdy medium box, cushioned with paper or wrap.
Before you pack: photos and cables
Take a quick photo of the back of the television and the connected devices before you unplug anything. That photo is your wiring diagram for the new room. Then bag the cables and remotes for each device, label the bag with the device name, and tape the bag to the back of the matching device or put it in the same box.
How to pack a flat screen
Wipe the screen with a dry microfiber cloth first, because grit trapped under wrap can scratch it.
Remove the stand or wall mount and keep the screws in a labeled bag.
Cover the screen with a clean sheet of soft paper, then wrap the whole set in a pad or bubble wrap, with extra at the corners.
Slide the set into the carton on its edge, never flat on its face.
Fill any gap with soft padding so the screen cannot rock.
Tape the carton shut, write TV and FRAGILE on two sides, and mark THIS SIDE UP.
A television that is mounted on the wall, or stands on a tall unit, is also safer when it is anchored in the new home. The Consumer Product Safety Commission's Anchor It campaign explains how.

The two employees showed up on time and were very polite and ready to work. Our quote was 8 hours and they finished in 5 hours. Office staff checked in prior to move and confirmed all details and check in after move to make sure everything was taken care of. Would use this company again for sure!

Talk about organized people. I peeked in the truck about an hour into the job and was amazed at how well organized it was and how many of my things had protective coverings. Our bed is a mechanical one and a nightmare to us, but these guys had no issue with it at all. Although I have no desire to ever move again--but if I did, I would be calling these guys for sure!!!
